Ouch. That was what Rinpoche said at a temple committee meeting. It was not directed at me personally but was in relation to something I felt responsible for – so the words stung. The interesting thing is the more I thought about it, the more annoyed I got. I mean I felt I had done so much over the years and I did not deserve that comment.
